Poem Title: I am the stenographer

This poem received three (and a half) acceptances in two weeks—one was from Third Coast, listing it as a finalist in their annual poetry contest.

The half acceptance was from the journal that said, We almost accepted it for publication but,  "we felt that the poem, with its use of repetition, may benefit from a different format."

I do love a good mansplaining first thing in the morning.

I hate turning down journals, but I also respect and submit only to journals that support simultaneous submissions, and this is the risk of that game.

"I am the stenographer" will appear in a future issue of Third Coast, with the contest winners and other finalists. Looking forward to it!
